A Romantic Beach Getaway Is Ideal To Cure The Winter Blues

The cold and chill of the winter months can seem to drag on forever. Snow and ice coat the land and everyone seems to go into hibernation. But those glorious sun-filled days do not have to be a distant memory of the past summer. What about a romantic beach getaway during those cold winter months, when the days get shorter and the nights are longer? Consider this your express tour of some of the most popular beach destinations and vacations romantic beach lovers want to take. A getaway romantic weekend sunning in a tropical destination is a sure fire cure for those winter blues.

If you want to make the romantic beach getaway a surprise, then here is a great trick. Take your loved one out to dinner but instead of letting them pick from the menu when it comes dessert time, serve them up a piece of Key Lime pie. When they take a bite, ask them how it is and whether or not they would like to try an authentic piece while sitting in the Florida Keys. Just imagine the surprised look on their face!

Hawaii is always a great destination and surprisingly an inexpensive honeymoon spot for those savvy travelers looking for a great honeymoon at a reasonable rate. The biggest expense will be the airfare, but if you book your tickets in advance, use airline miles or special websites for great package deals, then you can have a great Hawaiian vacation relatively inexpensively.

No need to fear the mysterious Bermuda Triangle when you are looking for a romantic getaway. Bermuda has plenty to offer the sun worshipper. Cambridge Beaches cannot be beat for their crystal clear waters for scuba diving and snorkeling. November through March is the off season and you can find some stellar deals that place you directly on the beach in your very own cabana.

Forget about those boots and heavy winter coats, because on a romantic beach getaway you will not need them. Pack a bathing suit, some sunscreen and be ready to have a lot of fun. If you feel guilty about everyone else back at home suffering through the snow and freezing cold, then you can always bring them back a jar of sand and a snapshot of you frolicking in the surf.
