One that is not going to take off at the first signs of trouble, one who is going to not only stand by him, but also with him, equal partners as they walk down life’s road. They also want a woman who isn’t needy, clinging to them every moment of every day. Women who are independent, but still need to feel some security with their man are what men desire.
Men also want some of the same things that a woman does when it comes to finding the right man. Men want to be equal in the relationship, sharing the responsibilities, the discipline of the children, as well as the cleaning and cooking. Some men are of course more old fashioned about who does the cooking and cleaning, but in today’s modern world, more ant more men want an equal partnership.
Men still want to feel like they are needed, but not feel like they have to take whole responsibilities for everything. A woman that has her own job, is secure emotionally, and one that is going to have a say in things are also some of the attributes that men are looking for, but not so much that it is overbearing. For an example, while it is all right for the woman to earn more money than her partner is it is not a good idea to flaunt this fact. It makes men feel insecure.
As you walk down the road of life, a man wants a woman who is there walking beside him. They want their partner to be by them, helping them, and taking an equal part in both the triumphs as well as the tragedies. Not only does a man want some support, but also to know that his support is needed as well.
There are also other smaller things that are part of what men want in a woman. They want to hear that they are doing a good job, and that they are doing their part in the relationship. While they may not need this on a constant basis, when times are tough, they definitely need this encouragement. They want a woman who has a sense of humor, and can take a bad situation and find some good in it, and even something to laugh about. They also want someone who can be serious, and doesn’t take things for granted.
